La IA no es un autor

21/11/2025 — Juanse Marquez

More and more often, I find myself trying to explain that if something is “said by the AI”, in fact no one said it. AI is not an author; it’s only software. So I found a friendly but clear shortcut for my explanation.

Aider: AI on your terminal

12/11/2025 — Juanse Marquez

Aider is an AI assistant for the terminal. It can be connected to some of the public available models, or to a self-hosted model (also accessible via OpenWebUI), as in my case.

In particular, I wanted a strictly on-demand AI assistant. That is, I want it disabled most of the time, and only activate it when needed.

In addition, I was able to integrate it into vim, which is the editor I use, without adding plugins.

This is a single-file PHP command line script I wrote. It returns “lorem ipsum” text. You can download it from my github repository.

Idiomas de programación

07/04/2021 — Juanse Marquez

“Programming language” has always been translated into Spanish as “lenguaje de programación”. I think that’s a mistake, and a lost opportunity.

Welcome

02/04/2021 — Juanse Marquez

Hi there!

This is my blog’s first post. It’s not my first time starting a blog, I abandoned the former dispite my good initial intentions.

What are my new intentions this time?

  • This will be a bilingual blog (Spanish and English)
  • There will be technical and non-technical posts
  • There will be reposts (and maybe English translations) of my former blogs.
  • And of course new posts I will write ad hoc

Thanks for reading! See you all!
